Branches and worktrees pile up, and AI coding agents now create them by the dozen. Lopper is a free, open-source Mac app that finds the ones you no longer need, shows the evidence for why each is safe to remove, and keeps an undo for 30 days. It refuses to touch work that exists only on your Mac, and nothing is removed until you confirm a list.

• One scan finds merged branches, leftover worktrees and generated folders across every repository you chose
• Every verdict shows its evidence: a merged pull request, ancestry, identical content or patch equivalence. When git cannot prove it, Lopper does not guess
• Recognises worktrees from Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and Conductor, and keeps the ones still in use out of bulk cleanups
• Only on this Mac lists unpushed commits, uncommitted files and stashes by risk, with the commits and files inside each one
